I took the reference photo for this painting when we stopped to visit some of Clemson's cows in a pasture near campus.  "Jeronimo" was the name on her ear tag, and she was very friendly.

This painting has been sold.

 I did this painting from a photo I took in the winter of 2022 to Dewees Island, SC, with friends.  I love the shape of the tree, the way it clung with its shadow to the bank, and the warm greens in the foliage.

 This painting was done from a photograph I took at Mac Smith's Diner on the Lebanon Road outside of Pendleton, SC.   I did a smaller version of it-- 10" x 10" --that I called "Lunch Break."  That small painting was sold, but I had already decided to do a larger one.  I like the colors and the figures and the activity in this scene.
